I love how you drew Shino in your part 3! (Big Shino fan here), he looks so comfortable with the team, almost inhaling the food, leaning all over Hinata, hating Kankuro 🤝 with Hinata. Love it.

thanks! put a lot of thought into how he’d manage to eat under all those layers. settled the classic old trope where buttons go flying, well, jacket snaps. hopefully, his aura of mystery is still intact.

I keep admiring your "attention" comic, and I really adore the way there's such a contrast between Kiba and Kankurou. Like Kiba comes in all loud and with so much movement and energy and Kankurou is just. Dead still. Doesn't change pose, even the shadows on his face stay still. All that's moving is his eyes and hands until he's done with the puppet hand and ready to give Kiba the attention he craves. I think it says so much about the two of them with no words!

Really wanted Kankuro's posture to reflect the patience and concentration that handcrafting requires. It’s quite a 180 from his pre-Shippuden days when he was an impatient kickass :D But even then, he still managed to learn puppetry, which is usually portrayed as a very graceful and precise art.

And Kiba is just Kiba.
