Through my baseline assessments last week I noticed that many of the children dont know their 2d shape names, and those that do need to gain confidence in using shape language to describe the shapes. This week we have 2d and 3d shapes hidden in coloured wood shavings with masks for the children to put on to have a go at feeling the shapes to work out what they are.
