I just discovered the whole Objectum stuff and i think i might relate so, if you don't mind, can you explain how "objectum attraction" works?
I think i may have felt some kind of attraction on an object but i didn't really felt they were conscient (from what I've heard, "conscience of objects" are really valued on the community) but i also felt aesthetic, sensual and platonic attraction towards objects (or sometimes even places!) So I'm really confused rn, am i objectum or I'm just touch-starved or if not, both?
First of all, a belief in animism or "conscience of objects" is not necessary to be objectum! A lot of objectum folks don't believe in animism or see their object partners as having souls/being sentient.
The only requirement is that you feel attracted to objects/concepts! And to me, it sounds like you do so you could absolutely call yourself objectum if you want!
Objectum attraction works differently depending on who's experiencing it and what they believe. Some objectum folks believe fully in animism, some believe in it partially, and some don't at all! Some people see their object partners as having a personality, some just like the type of object!
Any type of attraction can be objectum too! I know I feel platonic, queerplatonic, and aesthetic attraction to objects very frequently!
