I’m honestly so fed up with “my strange addiction” or “car guy” or “woman that married the Eiffel Tower” jokes

the punchline everytime is just the attraction itself, it’s never even funny

I think it’d be great to have a documentary on the OS community, but what we do have is TLC making displays of members within our community that end in them being mocked.

Is it bad that i dont indentify with my objectum attraction being a paraphillia?

no, you define the feelings you have. they are your own and nobody elses.

i just prefer to use objectophilia because it feels closer to the way i experience my other kinks.

and it was used as proof i am disgusting and harmful by someone that hurt me quite badly, just like my other paraphilias are seen as disgusting and harmful. so maybe its to say "well maybe im proud of it being a weird kink"
