The 2018 remix of The White Album sounds amazing. I recommend it to everyone.
Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da subjectively has the best lyrics of any Beatles song, because: 1. Textually, one of it’s main characters is genderfluid, and the couple switch off singing in bands and working in the marketplace while letting the children help out. It’s just a beautiful positive queer relationship!? 2. I thought the lyrics were “happy ever after in the marketplace” as “happy as a raptor in the marketplace”, and that idea still brings me joy.
