Had this annoying frat guy and his buddy order two Sex on the Beach’s last night. I told him that these would be drinks and not shots. He said he wanted shots and I told him that we couldn’t do them as shots. He said that was fine so I put the order in for these drinks that total $20. I take them out to the customer and his friend, and go off to do my thing.
5 minutes later, the drinks haven’t been touched. 10 minutes later, still totally full. 30 minutes later, the only thing that’s changed is that the ice has melted.
Finally, they come up to the bar to cash out. The friend says to me “We wanted shots not drinks.”
I said. “We don’t do those as shots.”
He says “You should have told us that.”
“I did.”
“You should have told us that before you brought us the drinks then.”
“I did. I told you when you ordered them that these were drinks.”
Then he said in the most obnoxious voice “Oh, well that’s fine I guess.”
Good grief I hate my non regulars.
TLDR: Obnoxious frat guy doesn’t know how to listen.
