Rate My Bar!

Obryans - This is the classy way to slum it with the locals. Enjoy the awful wallpaper and limited, overpriced beers on tap with people who never left but got tired of Linder's and Bw3s posh college crowd. 

BW3s - For college bunch and sporting types, there's no less likely way to get a DUI but be amongst locals who probably already have one then to hop over a metal guard rail just feet from the campus so you can enjoy the wall to wall flat screen TVs and semi attractive bar staff. Thursdays are a must. 

Olna Janes - This legendary Ashland hole serves up some of the towniest townies, brawlers, creeps, sluts, and rednecks. It also is a place where real live music actually occurs on a semi frequent basis. If you haven't been to Olna Janes, you haven't been to Ashland. 

The Wagon Wheel - If you're back from your big life in the city and your life is becoming a movie where one scene will be a catalyst for the rest of the 2 hour drama about understanding the meaning of growing up/quarter life crisis, it will start at the Wagon Wheel. This place is epic poetry. 

Linder's - Back in the day, a disgraced college wrestling coach could start a sports bar and serve the best wings, get all the local sports heros in Ohio to stop in it, and be the one stop in Ashland worth getting sloshed and stuffed in. If only it was still 1999. But then you sell it, and it passes hands a few times and ends up a real bad cliche. Still, drinks are cheap and times are real.
