"It felt like such a small thing. Claire [Scanlon], our director, when she called up to offer it, she said, "Just so you know there's like a little connection here." And I mentioned it to Dais that evening — she was away filming — so I said, "You know there's this thing..." And she just said, "Oh yeah, I heard about that," but we didn't think it was a big thing until we were in Montreal shooting and I was made aware that it's a bigger deal than I thought it was. And also those characters are so beautiful in Star Wars, of course they're going to inspire other people to write things around those sorts of characters.
