Have to admit, I didn't expect them to take this angle. (I may have found some spoiler-y things on the internet before this episode aired, so I had a small idea of what might happen.) I did not expect Jasper to be so…harsh. Looking forward to seeing where they go with this…and bracing for more angst and sad things.

Yeah, I've been trying to avoid too many spoiler-y things.  I did already know about the new Gem of Thursday's episode—I mean, that thing's been a Chekhov's Gun for a long while now, so it's not that big a surprise, you know?  Jasper's recurring role, I think, has been the biggest surprise to me of late.

After this episode I'm having a hard time thinking Jasper is ever getting redeemed. She has been portrayed as an abuser over and over again. And after what she said to Amethyst this episode I'm not sure I want her redeemed. Poor Amethyst, my heart.

I agree about Jasper; she's pretty horrible.  If that Ruby Doofus Squad showed up and took her away, I wouldn't miss her.  The only problem with that is there wouldn't be much of a driving plot. 😉

Amethyst needs all the hugs right now, whether she wants them or not. 😢

I know! This episode left a lot of things that need to be explained, ASAP! But one thing also really stuck out to me, and I don't know if they'll explain it later or not, but when Jasper was like, "Hey, Rose?" while holding those gems in that taunting sort of way made me wonder: did Jasper know who those gems were before they were corrupted? Were they two that had been Crystal Gems but couldn't be saved from the Corruption Bomb? The way she said it sounded like Rose should at least know them, but since Steven is now Rose Quartz, but doesn't have her memories, he couldn't know that. But it seemed odd that Jasper took the time to gloat like that if there wasn't meaning behind it.

That does seem significant... but it’s also possible that she’s insane, and simply likes doing the villainous gloating thing. 😉

No kidding!  Steven’s managed to befriend and redeem every other Homeworld Gem so far, but Jasper may very well be the one he can’t.

I get a "your bag is full" all the time. My solution is to check how many Revives I have and trash a bunch to get under 250. I do not actually need 100 Revives.

May have to try this. It occurred to me that I’ve overloaded on Revives.

The "your bag is full" thing is a pain. It's literally me all the time. I don't think there is much to do about it without buying a bag expansion (with actual money) and I don't think I'm up for that.

On the one hand, I do want to support them. But on the other hand, I have to be very selective about where my disposable income goes.

Yeah, last year I went home but it was on the weekend & not the middle of the week, makes it a bit difficult with work but yeah. So great

Yeah... the servers have been really crap the last few days because they've opened it up to more countries (even when it does work it gets stuck). But they're saying the server is being worked on so hopefully it'll work soon.

Honestly, I’m not surprised. I’m sure they’ll sort things out eventually. It’s just exciting since they never actually released a date for the Canadian release - it just sort of...happened. I only found out because my sister sent me a wild text about it.
