hey doctor, I've been feeling quite down lately and I was wondering how you cope with loneliness and just sadness in general

Well, if you want my honest opinion.... I find the best way to deal with these things is through means of distraction. Find something you like to do and... just do it. Even if you don't have any hobbies, you can always try new things. Try and find one. Anything to distract usually helps.
