As a bit of a con law nerd myself, I have to ask - what’s the book?

Mark Tushnet’s Taking the Constitution Away from the Courts. I generally like the Lincolnian approach to con law, which he says he bases it on, but we can’t just ditch the system we have for something that formless. I’m a little more open to debate than I admitted in that post, though :)

Honestly, I think that reference would be way better and more considerate than my sister-in-law. My mom went to see her and my brother yesterday, and Nessa said, “How’s Gabi’s job search? I keep getting all of these calls about her...” Like, obviously it’s not going great if people are still calling you. But the real question is, are you actually answering all of those calls, Nessa, or are you just letting them go to voicemail????? At this point I don’t trust (or like for MANY other reasons) my sister-in-law. I’d MUCH MUCH rather have random strangers on the internet vouch for my character hahah!!!!

Aw, ty, Obsessi!  <3 But II've no idea... The reason I kept stalling on it way back when was because I felt like it was super unoriginal... like, the ending I was heading toward felt too much like a mediocre filler ep. :( 

I think that’s a huge part of why I struggle with writing Reader fics. On one hand, I want to keep the character vague, so that anyone can put themselves in the Reader’s shoes -- but on the flip side, that makes me feel like I’m sacrificing the quirks that can make a story unique.

(I know. I totally overthink this. I really don’t think people give a crap if they can put themselves in the Reader’s shoes, because there are tons of great Reader fics out there that have Readers with very strong personalities. But I guess in those cases, I think of it more as an OFC/OMC?)
