I was craving old men so these two are now introduced to my OCs roster:
Grant Solstheim - Orson's dad
Vincent Aether - Edward's dad
Grant is the head of a multibillion dollar company (the currency may change as they all live in a fictional universe) that roots in many industries, from FnB to real estate and even politics. He grew up under constant abuse of his father, for which he swore not to put on his children. However, it's easier said than done, which is why his relationship with Orson is strained.
Grant started at nothing and would resort to anything to build the empire he has now. Orson is his only successor, but he's still waiting for him to prove his worth.
Vincent, although knowing Orson from their young age, isn't very successful like his peer. They came from the same seaside town, but he chose to stay and enjoy the slow life by the beach. After graduation, he started working in construction sites and later became the supervisor, for a company that's owned by Vincent.
Accident happened and broke his leg, rendering him unable to work for an extended period. As he couldn't work and his wife succumbed to illnes, money was tight, and Edward needed to strike for a full scholarship to university. From then, things started to go south.
