I CAN’T WAIT TO WATCH ENCANTO

Just watching clips and trailers have gotten me so excited!! I’m planning to watch the movie before Christmas but in the meantime my brain is literally coming up with hcs that center around different family dynamics and how they could look - it’s making me think of so many questions about the encanto universe

• Are there others in this universe that faced something similar to alma and gained powers that way?

• How would the Madrigals react to others who have gifts??

• What if there were other people/families from other parts of the world!??? (Lowkey trying to fulfill my dream of seeing south/North Indian disney characters)

• How would the powers be distributed if it were like a ‘full house’ kind of family dynamic?? How would they react to each other?

• Can the “miracle” come in other forms instead of a candle?

Princess Diaspro - Fairy of Gemstones

I’m basically toying with this winx AU to cope and had to do this girlie justice✨

Dia is a tactical woman who knows what she wants and will do anything to make it happen

she grew up understanding that her role in marrying Sky would be important in gaining some stability and power in her own kingdom

she’s the embodiment of “living to serve her country/people” - her main goal in life is to lead her people into a better future and is passionate about making her kingdom florish

she only sees Sky as a step she needs to take, she doesn’t hold any real feelings for the prince besides business

when Bloom and Sky were becoming a thing, Dia initially didn’t care since she only saw it as a phase - just the prince getting a last taste of “freedom” before tying the knot with her

only when she realized how serious he was about Bloom did Dia realize how dangerous it could get - her ticket to gaining more recognition and power in her kingdom was threatened the moment Sky begins thinking of breaking it off with her, all for some “nobody from earth”

when we first see her, she comes off as cold and uncaring, when in reality she is an efficient and determined individual who takes her role seriously - so seeing her future slowly breaking apart, she’s frustrated that she had spent her entire life preparing for something thats about to be stripped away from her

the emotional whiplash hit me so hard after seeing stuff from the winx reboot i had to rewrite diaspros whole plot/redesign her just to gain some sense of sanity - and honestly i love going back and redesigning winx characters, i might play around with diaspro more when i get the chance
