Most likely not

From what I remember he was a pretty useless character, just a ken to marry off to a revived Daphne (still the dumbest idea in HISTORY 🙄)

Since my version of Daphne won't be resurrected as a Jesus Christ Superstar wannabe, he will not exist

At most I might think of recycling his name or his appearance for some secondary character

One thing I feel is being wasted is that Saladin, Griffin, and Faragonda seemed to be a thousand years old in the original series—implying they might have known the ancestors or lineages of some of their current students. I don't know how you plan to develop this, but I actually like the harrowing idea that their eternity is painful and that they have to come to terms with it. Just imagine how many students they must have lost over time.

Could you explain how they are viewed by the students' parents or kingdoms? We know they are respected to some degree, but to what extent by the rulers of other planets?

My solution is simply that magixians also increase their longevity, if skilled enough with magic.

So the three of them, being very powerful, managed to live up to 200-300 years. A magixian can easily reach 100 years of age without any problems. If they're a powerful fairy, a witch or a wizard, even more.

BUUUUT This also means that our 6 protagonists, since it's already established by the canon that they will reach the maximum level of Enchantix fairies, could outlive their own parents

The three headmasters are undoubtedly among the most skilled magic wielders of all time and are admired and respected by everyone in the Magic Dimension. This is why King Oritel chose them as members of the Company of Light. He could have chosen only young members, like himself and his wife, but he knew well that strength and power are nothing without the knowledge and wisdom of who is older

Surely some parents may have something to say about their somewhat borderline teaching methods, but it's not a good idea for them to start arguing about it

Most royal weddings in the Magic Dimension are arranged

Galatea's parents are a somewhat special case. King Garonimus had been looking for a woman to marry for a long time but she never seemed to be the right one, he found all the young women he was proposed to uninteresting and bland.

But one day, when he was about to give up, he saw a beautiful girl with a face as white as a lotus flower sitting on the porch of a little house, in the middle of an orchard. Intrigued by her unusual appearance for a Melody resident, he approached to ask her name, but was surprised to see that the girl didn't seem to recognize him as her king; she hadn't immediately knelt down like everyone else. In fact, it was the girl herself who asked for his name first. Only after he announced himself he noticed how the girl, embarrassed by her lack of etiquette, bow to him but holding on to a wood pillar next to her. The girl was blind.

He gently approached and helped her up by taking her hand. With that simple gesture, breaking all the boring court rules, the king had "signed his death sentence", he had completely fallen in love with her. Their love transcends all barriers: physical appearance, age difference, social classes and all royal norms. They both respect each other deeply and have found in each other the companionship and affection they were looking for.

To outsiders, Garonimus's love may seem almost morbid, like that of a greedy man who only wants to keep his treasure all for himself. But the truth is that all the attention he reserves for his beloved wife is more than well-founded because of Allegra's poor health situation

Allegra loves him for his kind attentions for her, but above all she loves him for the way he seems more genuine with her, free from any royal constraints. And she also loves his curiosity and thirst for knowledge

Theirs was not a conventional marriage but it was certainly not devoid of love and affection 💗

What is your opinion and rewrite ideas on wizards in winxclub? My opinions they are pretty average

Let's just say we haven't had many examples of good wizards in the series

Off the top of my head, only Saladin comes to mind

Looking at the wiki I see that there is something more: other schools specifically for wizards (entirely for male students obviously 🙄)

My idea is to give them a religious-like background

Nabu for example studied magic with the wizard-monks of Ohm, the Order of the Great Mother. They are the few in the Magic Dimension who worship the Mother Butterfly, another primordial force (like the Great Dragon and the Shadow Phoenix) who they believe created all living beings. These monks are inspired by the Air Nomads from Avatar, as I imagine their lifestyle and spirituality. In fact, Nabu has butterfly tattoos on his arms that are somewhat reminiscent of Aang's arrows

Saladin, on the other hand, is one of the keeper of the Lynphea's Orbs, that purple sphere that is embedded in his staff. These are magical artifacts that represent the union of the main peoples of Lynphea (and Eros): the Magixians, the Felinaaris, the Unicorns and the Elves (one of the orbs was entrusted to Vexius, an elf, before his betrayal to the Kingdom of Domino). These four purple orbs are placed on the Altar of Life during the Yaxuma Festival, to celebrate the union between these people and nature. So Saladin's staff contains more of a spiritual and sacred power but not actual magic, he uses it to channel his own magic

Does Diaspro's mother have a personality similar to the one in the comics?

I've never read the comics so I have no idea how she's like there

I took inspiration from her comic version only for the design, since in the series she is only seen for like a nanosecond

Actually both she and her husband are very sweet and kind (a little frivolous), but they haven't been very present for their daughter

They often entrusted her to the royal nannies, who saw Diaspro as an unpleasant little girl

If I ever decide to axe/replace Butterflix, assume I have been kidnapped and replaced. Butterflies are far too special to me to get rid of the butterfly themed transformation.

That all said, enjoy the overview and my 670 words of rambling

Butterflix is the core transformation of the forms Feronix, Apothix, and Anthouix. Much like Harmonix, it doesn’t add much strength wise and is comparative to Charmix. Butterflix is earned when a mage is able to tap into wild magic for the first time. The form allows them to metabolize it safely, as wild magic is unstable and can cause mages to develop magical atrophy. It’s deeply rooted in the natural world, with select ecosystems developing in a way that makes them dependent on it and becoming pools for the magic.

It does not make them immune to magical atrophy, it just creates a resistance to it. The form is a place holder until they can gain one of the three aforementioned forms, as the higher forms gain the ability to control it and develop a better resistance to its effects. Butterflix acts as a stepping stone towards it and helps introduce the magic to one’s magic source, to avoid overwhelming it.

As for the Winx’s individual designs, I gave each girl a specific butterfly family to base their designs off of. Initially, I wanted to do specific butterflies for each, down to the species, but ultimately decided on a family to keep things more simple but individualized. There are seven in total and each had their own reason. Lore-wise, the family is not connected to their form in anyway, it’s just a design feature I chose.

Bloom was designed with papilionidae, swallowtails, in mind. They are a very grand, prized, group of butterflies. They’re best known for the species with the tails on their wings, as well as the bright colors and patterns on their wings. They are also the family with the largest butterflies in the world, being the birdwing butterflies. Part of what made me inclined to give her papilionidae, albeit not present in her design, is the Green Dragontail butterfly. It’s a type of swallowtail with long tails that flutter when they fly. I also use swallowtails in Bloom’s design as well, best seen in her Enchantix, Sirenix, and Vitalix, which also pushed me towards papilionidae.

Stella has nymphalidae, or brush-footed butterflies. They are the largest family and are best known for groups like emperors, monarchs, and fritillaries. They are best known for their orange, white, and brown color pallets, but it’s not uncommon for them to also have other colors mixed in. In fact, there’s a nymphalid called the blue moon butterfly. Admittedly, the oranges of the nymphalidae is why I wanted Stella to have them, but that had been before I decided on how I wanted their colors ordered for Butterflix.

Flora’s Butterflix was based on Hedylidae. They’re better known as the genus Macrosoma, or American moth-butterflies. They’re native to the Americas, primarily observed in South and Central. Many of the species within the genus are dependent on specific plants, both as a food source and host plant when they pupate. Between that and their earthen, plant-like wings, they felt fitting for Flora.

Musa’s family was lycaenidae. Their common names include coppers, blues, and hairstreaks, with the latter two being the primary inspiration. Blues tend to have spots on their wings, which is what led me to that decision. My redesign of her Butterflix, from 2022, was also based on hairstreak butterflies, so it’s also a partial call-back to that. Adding the tails of the hairstreaks also helps separate her wings from the other girls.

Initially, I was between lycaenidae and pieridae for Tecna, but ended up going with riodinidae. Riodinidae are better known as metalmark butterflies, named for the metallic sheen of the scales. Metalmarks lack any distinctive or common shapes, some have tails like a swallowtail, some have wings that are shaped similar to fritillaries or blues. In the end, I did look at a specific metalmark, the menthone cecillia, due to the distinct jagged edges on the hindwings.

Aisha’s took inspiration from the pieridae family, better known as whites or allies. Some of the better known species are the common brimstone and orange tip. Many are solid colors and pronounced veins, which almost look like the fins of a fish. Most species are also found in tropical areas, primarily in Asia and Africa. And, while green is not a dominant color this time, the wings of species like the common brimstone and lyside sulphur are green-ish and reminiscent of Aisha’s canon Harmonix wings.

Roxy was based on the hesperiidae, skipper butterflies. I knew she’d be getting them the moment I read into them. Not only are they rather fuzzy for butterflies, they were also not considered butterflies for quite some time. Skippers were considered a superfamily under Lepidoptera, Hesperioidea. They were considered an inbetween of moths and butterflies, initially, but a study in 2009 reclassified them as a family in papilionoidea. It lines up, in a way, with the lore I have surrounding the Earth Fairies, as they have been separated from the Magic Dimension for ages and have only recently started reintegrating.
