wip wednesday

Alicent stares at the IV blood draw curiously. Now that the human thought about it, her girlfriend got to experience so little of twentieth century medicine. Turned at twenty two years old in a small northern Irish town; there was likely only one doctor near. Rhaenyra was glad Alicent made it here to her. No one should have had to experience the Troubles that came from the decades of tension prior.

She wondered if Alicent thought about what would have happened if she forgot about Saera and went on with a mortal life…

A sound of a kiss breaks the air, purple meets green. Alicent smiles her way and kisses the air Rhaenyra's way again. This makes the human smile earnestly and returns the gesture.

The matron smiles as she glides across the room to her son and repeats the same procedure on him.

Gwayne's veins were much easier to find. The raised rivers beneath pale skin flowing with a wide pool of sanguine sustinance to pull from. Unlike his sister, Gwayne looks away when the needle touches him. The vintage also flowing freedly from his veins into a similar blood bag.

Viridian orbs were more than a little frazzled, but Rhaenyra was the one to soothe this go around. A warm hand found his opposite arm and a similar temperature smile followed it.

Rhaenyra looks to the matron once she had secured the medical tubing.

"So, can you break down the process of this?"

Alyrie takes a breath and begins the scripted explanation.

"So I am collecting Alicent's altered blood and Gwayne's clean. To do this most like an actual turning, you will be exsanguinated at the same time as Alicent's blood enters you. I will collect enough to ensure that you will be stable the entire time," she rambles a bit.

Her long fingers fidget nervously, a quiet confidence was shaking like a leaf.

"The idea is no convulsions. No pain. No sensory overload or burning thirst. You just wake up as one of us."

Gwayne Hightower lain in a guest room on the first floor and he dreamed.

A shudder of horror leaves him as he swings his legs out of bed, stumbling in shock to Alyrie and Otto's chosen room on this floor.

"M-Ma!" He calls at the door after knocking three times. The more casual title coming out in this moment of vulnerability.

"I... I had another terror. I'm... I'm torn up real bad..."
