Sooo.... You don't happen to have some kind of reference for your Vampire boys do you? Or a mood board type thing or an extra extra detailed explanation that could possibly help me draw them do you?

I do have an idea of what they look like from reading the fic (the explanations where great) but i need to know even more because i need to draw them so badly (especially Eclipse) I mean they have such an interesting vibe for vampires. I so badly want to draw them. I'm getting punk and cowboy vibes!!!??? for vampires!? I freaking love the vision and would highly appreciate even more detail please ówò

Firstly, I'm happy to hear that you love it enough that you're determined to make art for the fic! That thrills me! Second, I am sad to say that I don't have any references or mood boards😔I've done my best to describe how they look in the fic but from there you'll have to trust in your heart. But you are correct! Eclipse leans heavily into a punk and cowboy vibe. Sun and Moon lean more into Southern gothic and cowboy. Eclipse and Moon are both decked out in jewelry, Eclipse wears gold jewelry and Moon wears silver. Sun's attire is the most simple of his brothers, just his shirt and suspenders with high-waisted pants and his gun holster.

And I'll say that reader wears glasses, because I think it's cute. (I forgot to mention it in the fic but I've edited it and it's there now, so if anyone read it and didn't see that before it's because I just added it).

The vibes are the whole reason I wrote this story! I love vampires and gothic Americana (or Southern gothic) and folk music. Besides, so many stories are about Victorian-esque vampires (which are great don't get me wrong!) and I thought it'd be fun for a taste of a favorite genre of mine.

And thank you, I'm proud of the title❤️

Soooooo This is everything i could glean from the descriptions of Eclipse from Once Bitten Twice Shy. 👉👈

Round face sharp pointed rays Amber eyes like whiskey/honey that glow gold jewellery ray/earrings, necklace? casing of a deep red A lean and lithe frame black eyeliner He’s beautiful. Pretty in a way that makes your heart ache just looking at him. He doesn’t seem like the type to play a violin ring-laden fingers sharp curved claws

This is my interpretation so far but also the simplest taking the description at face value version. also sorry the hands laden with rings are hidden I didn't feel like drawing hands rn ^^;

Did I miss anything or get anything wrong? Does he need more gold accents? is his jacket the wrong kind of leather jacket? does it need to be longer? what about a shirt? (only the jacket was mentioned so) Also the colours/shades?? are the colours ok? is red the only colour of his casing? and was it ok i used two shades???

basically is this anything like what you imagine and how can i get it closer???

Sorry if i'm being weird i've never drawn a character from only a written description and i wanna get him right ^^; and by right i mean close to what you imagine (get outta here with every interpretation nonsense >.< if imma let this man live rent free in my head he has to look right ok ò.ó)

OOOH I THINK YOU DID AMAZING! You've got plenty of gold on him but don't be shy with more necklaces if you want, the guy likes to be decked out. Look, my problem is that I'm a writer and not an artist so when I see people draw characters I've written for and they do or add things I hadn’t mentioned my grubby little hands just want to grab and squeeze their interpretations. So I hadn’t pictured Eclipse with a half-length jacket but I think he looks good with one! The jacket usually hangs open and he has cowboy boots if that helps. He's also probably wearing a white shirt. His pants are tighter and half his casing is black. But I think he looks great! But what matters most is that you're having fun!
