Obvious au Max tricking oscar onto walking in on norrix AGAIN because even though oscar is smart he always falls for max's traps and Max having the time of his life because he can't believe it worked again 😂

"Do you know where Lando is because we have a meeting in ten minutes", Oscar frowned as he asked Max, looking at him with distrust which Max thought was fair because at this point, the amount of times Max had sent Oscar as the person to break up Lando and Martin getting busy in the paddock was nearing double digits. "Oh, I saw him heading into the bathroom about five minutes ago", Max shrugged, trying not to smirk because he knew for a fact that he had seen Martin slipping into the drivers only bathroom with Lando, but he needed to get payback on Oscar and on Martin so he held his tongue as Oscar eyed him warily, "I hope you find him because I have to go entertain Martin, he's hiding in my drivers room from Daniel" Oscar considered him for a moment as if he wasn't sure he could trust him, but the moment passed as he nodded and disappeared down the side of one of the motorhomes to the drivers bathroom that Max had gestured too, and Max, well, he waited just long enough to hear Oscar swearing as Lando screamed at him to fuck off before he walked back to Red Bull with a grin on his face, already texting the groupchat about what he had done.

Oscar knew that going near Lando's drive room post-quali when Martin was around was a dangerous thing, but he needed the other before Marta killed them both for avoiding her and her latest pr ideas.

She had finally cornered Oscar in the McLaren hub. Normally he kept an eye out for her, but Marta was like a little ninja. She appeared out of thin air, and used her sweet smile to threate Oscar into finding Lando for some challenge she wanted them to film.

He had tried to text the groupchat to figure out where Martin was, but he hadn't got an answer yet as he hesitated outside Lando's drivers room. He fiddled with his phone, trying to listen for any clues about what could be happening inside the room because he absolutely didn't want to walk in on them. Hearing them through the walls every so often was bad enough.

Oscar bit at his lip before he sighed, shifting from foot to foot before he raised a hand to knock at the door. He got no response from the knock but his phone did buzz with a text from Max.

"Saw Martin leaving track ten minutes ago 👍"

"Oh thank fuck" Oscar grinned, knocking again without hesitation. He waited a moment but when he didn't hear Lando's voice, Oscar reached for the handle and pushed the door open, "Lando, mate, stop napping cause Marta is going to have our he-"

His words were cut off in a choked noise before he was slamming the door shut again.

Oscar could feel the red blush creeping up his cheeks as he tried to blink the image he had just seen out of his mind.

Lando hadn't been napping, and Martin had clearly not left the track because he had been right there in Lando's driver room with Lando on his knees, mouth wrapped around a part of Martin that Oscar had never wanted to see let alone think about. Now, he unfortunately couldn't not think about it as he pulled out his phone again and furiously texted the group.

"Fuck you Verstappen"

The response was instant, and all the other man sent was a row of laughing faces because the fucker absolutely knew that Martin hadn't left the track.

Oscar promised himself he would get him back for this when he least expected it but he was distraced by a sheepish Lando slipping out of his drivers room. Blush high on his cheeks, and eyes unable to look at Oscar.

"So, um, Marta wanted us?", Lando asked. His voice a little husky and sore sound, only serving to highlight just what Lando was doing not even five minutes ago.

Oscar just nodded before he started to walk back towards where he knew Marta would be waiting.

"You're paying for my therapy bill", Oscar muttered as Lando fell into step with him.

The other started giggling at his words, but he still couldn't look at Oscar when he spoke.

"That's fair enough, mate"

I would love to read the one night stand au as a fic especially to see how long it takes max to clock that they have met before. Since he is a smart cookie i don't think it would take him long to figure it out 😂😂😂

And i would also love to read love at first sight au, paparazzi au and obvious au as fics 🤣🤣🤣

Apart from norrix i'm dying to know more about mystery au and the dando roadtrip 🥰🥰🥰

But i love all your stuff (and more pairings than norrix and dando) so whatever you write i will read it ❤️❤️❤️

One night stand au is in the works and you might have seen the snippet I shared. I am trying to get to it, but my brain is not liking longer fics right now so I am writing in short burst!h

Max would almost instantly sense some weirdness but he would not clock why. At least not straight away. He might sense attraction by the end of the night but no way would he pick it up at his birthday party....the next day however.....

Love at first sight and Paparazzi au are in my wips. I have drafted some starts to those, but I haven't dipped my toes into Obvious au yet 👀👀

Mystery au..,I did write some whump for it recently....I got yelled at a bit for it but it was fun! Essentially it's an au where Lando moves to a small coastal village that has a tight knit community. He gets a job in Max's bookstore, and he starts to form a bond with the local bartender, Daniel (originally Michael). However Lando is extremely closed off. He won't talk about his past or why he moved. His house is covered in security measures, and no one knows why. The reason is that Lando is a one of three survivors of a notorious serial killer that keeps evading the police and is trying to lay low so he doesn't find him again....but maybe he does...

Dando roadtrip is my baby that I want to make into a big oneshot or two or three long chaptered fic. It's based around the idea of Lando moving to Perth for his Masters. He wants a fresh start and something new, and he jumps at the chance to take a funded place in Perth. It's there he meets Daniel who introduces him to people that become his friends, and Lando falls for him quickly. However he never says anything and then, when it's possible that Lando is leaving for good now that his degree is complete, Daniel decides they should roadtrip through Australia, and Lando struggles to deal with his feelings while sharing small motel rooms with Daniel.

Hopefully I can start writing big fics again and bring some of these to you!

Someone (maybe oscar?) realising their relationship isn't just physical but they are very much in love. Maybe martin being at a raceweekend from thursday to sunday because lando is ill with tonselitis and he is with him the whole time, letting lando nap on him when there is break between sessions and taking care of him.🩷

Maybe at first everyone thinks that Lando and Martin are just friends fooling around. Max knows that it's more than that, but at first everyone only knows that Lando and Martin have been caught kissing around the paddock and at shows.

So when Oscar catches them being soft and sweet with each other, he's a little taken aback. He thought, like everyone but Max, that this was just them fooling around but the way Martin is whispering to Lando and how he his running his fingers through his curls speaks to so much more.

He's the first to bring it to the other's. This is way before the groupchat, and it gives them pause for a bit. They don't want Martin or Lando to feel like they're making fun of them or betting at their expense, yet when they realise that they are truely oblivious to how obvious they are, they decide the bets and warning texts are valid cause Norrix keep accidentally traumatising members of the grid

I just went on a journey through your obvious au and saw a groupchat mentioned but couldn't find the starting lore of it and I am so curious because everything about norrix being in love + other drivers being cute about it means so much to me

I'm so glad you liked the au! It's one of my more fun and soft au's!

The groupchat is started by George after multiple drivers figure out (from the obvious heart eyes and catching them) that Lando and Martin are dating. It starts off with just the Twitch Quartet minus Lando and plus Max V (George, Charles, Alex, Max), but slowly grows to include Daniel, Oscar and others as more people catch them kissing or figure out they're in love.

It becomes a place to make bets on "when will they tell us they're dating" or "when will Lando figure out we know".

It is also used as a warning system if Martin is at races because Oscar keeps walking in on them in various positions and places and they all decide to give each other a heads up (except for Max who finds it hilarious to tell Oscar it's safe to go somewhere while knowing Martin and Lando have gone that way.......Oscar falls for it a lot.....)

George also uses it to update his spreadsheet when he's bored 😂

At some point most the grid is in this groupchat except for Lando, and there is even some non-grid people like Max F in there because "I suffer more than you guys because I have to listen to him wax poetics about Martin's eyes and then listen to him deny that they're a thing"

OMG yes to All of the new obvious au 😂😂😂😂 danny walkig in on them an then just not leaving while lando dies and martin isn' botherd is hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂 danny would absolutly push it and start talking to lando sbout the car or something like "in turn 3 did you also have understeer" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 (i imagine martin being balls deep through all of that)

Lando would be searching for absolutely anything to toss at Daniel to get him to shut up and to get him out of where it is he caught them 😂😂

Martin would be the one to go "lovely chat Daniel, but we've got limited time and a lot to do" and that's what finally get Daniel to break down in tears of laughter before he tosses a condom at them and leaves 😂

Of course he'd absolutely and instantly tell the gc about it so george can update his spreadsheets 😂😂

Okay but Daniel walking in on them and rating them would absolutely mortify Lando while Martin is just laughing so hard because "I told you we'd caught here- OW STOP BITING ME" to which Daniel would cackle and throw out a "kinky" and get the nearest object fired at his head 😂

The thing is, Daniel doesn't just catch them and leave, no that would be too simple. He absolutely stays and makes jokes while Lando just goes red in the face and gets all pouty and hiding behind a laughing Martin while Daniel gives his rating of whatever they were doing that time 😂
