like this is dangerously close to a soulmate scent for me -- i knew i was gonna get the full bottle on first sniff of the sampler. it's fresh, crisp, photorealistic peppers -- some green some red but all juicy and bright -- soooo natural and SPICY! like it genuinely encapsulates the aromatic difference between chopping a red bell pepper and a habanero! and the staying power is unreal which is super unusual for a scent this fresh.
capsacin is supposedly scentless, but there must be other compounds in hot peppers that tag along because i've always thought that fresh chili peppers have a scent that reminds me of freshly mixed wet plaster and this has it. i know that doesn't sound like an endorsement but it's actually a nice smell, i promise 😅
100% endorse getting the discovery set anyway even just for the scoville bc it's genuinely unlike any fragrance i've ever smelled before.
