my opinion on;

character in general: 

when i was younger, like, SUPER young, i had the biggest crush on link. i grew up with the legend of zelda and it will and always be my favorite video game series. i love it more than assassin’s creed and i love it more than my life. i didn’t like twilight princess that much, simply because it was very easy in my opinion and it was story-driven. i mean, i’m not saying i hate games just because they’re story-driven; half the reason i love assassin’s creed so much is because it’s story-driven.

yet twilight princess? it was too much. there was way too much story that i feel that the temples and the puzzles were barely worked on, given a select few that almost made me cry in rage.

and the sky temple. fuck that son of a bitch in particular.

how they play them: 

i gotta be honest here, garry. the idea of a mute link is fantastic. it’s not done regularly because people don’t like the fact that link doesn’t really talk in the games. they either go off the manga or one of them, or figure out some sort of mish-mashed personality that somehow makes sense. it was a bold move and i’m glad you took it.

however, i do not agree with link being transgender. this is just my opinion. i know he looks feminine and all and i don’t know your reasoning behind it, but i feel like if he really was transgender, the game would have done a harder job trying to make that more clear to the audience. and not saying that the idea didn’t exist way back when, it was probably a lot harder to find.

garry, i remember you agreed with me 100% on pizzerxa and all of my theories back then. and agreed with me on the fact that must smut within the fnaf fandom was fucking ridiculous and disgusting. so i thank you on that. but since then and our growth and our changes in interests, we haven’t really talked much.

the idea is great, but i don’t really agree with your headcanons. just my opinion though, garry.

Ike knew Link was a quiet type -- for several reasons -- and really didn’t mind it on the usual day. But, this was a little different, as the overall quietness to the other made it just that more difficult to guess at what was going through his head.

The pointed efforts to not look in his direction while they ate was just a little bit disconcerting to the mercenary.

“...Torture?” Ike spluttered a bit, nearly choking on the spoon in his mouth, melted ice cream burning cold down his throat. “No, I -- I’m good on cash, I just figured...Why get two smaller ones, when we could get a larger thing of it and just...split it. Besides, I wasn’t gonna make you pay; it was my treat, you know?” he attempted to explain, stabbing his spoon back into the frozen dessert and shoving it into his mouth before he could say something to make it any more awkward.

Wasn’t this stuff supposed to be cold? His face felt a little too warm for that to be true...

He’d no ill will against Silas’ companion, but it was more than a little tedious how often he came in for the sake of having his throat closed up. Truly, the small adult needed to be more careful about how often he opened his mouth, but Dwyer saw no reason to chastise him.

The pain of constantly ripping the inside of his throat open was probably enough warning to knock it off, and if that wasn’t enough to keep him from continuing.. well, the butler would be wasting his breath.

He returned with his staff quickly enough - something that might have surprised most members of the army - and his healing spell had warmth to it. A veil of apathy didn’t mean he had to be poor about the execution of his duties.

           The resemblance is kind of uncanny. The fact that he’s staring probably isn’t helping the case too much, either. Sure, a different set of clothes. And, okay, maybe the other’s hair was a bit difference. But that didn’t stop Link from taking a double take upon first seeing him. 

            He’ll approach with enthusiasm at first, only to come to a quick halt. Hands raised in cautionary surrender. Approaching another swordsman with such vigor was bound to end in a less than pleasant encounter.

A routine perimeter check, that was all it was supposed to be, simply checking the outside of the camp for intruders. They hadn’t ever had then but better safe than sorry.

Of course it’s just his luck that he’s alone when he runs into one.
