color plans for my planned main evh toon, fantabbsmagoria! (her name is a pun/portmanteau that incorporates "fantasmagoria", "fantabulous" and "tabby")
the fur colors on the right are slightly desaturated compared to the fur colors on the left, which are fully saturated. i think ill go w the slightly desaturated colors cuz i dont know that i want them to be fully saturated
i wanted the gradient to look like the sky as it shifts from the earth's atmosphere to outer space
might give her a custom gag as an oc too :o early phantasmagoria theater shows used a kind of image projector called a magic lantern, which could be fun to turn into a gag
I don't think I heard anything about ur HoK so please ramble about them :'00
he is my strange and unusual creature.
^ this guyyyy
his name is lyrius! except it's not. that's not his name. his name is wades-through-deep-waters. he just heard the name "lyrius" and adopted it so people would quit looking at him, an altmer, weirdly for having an extremely argonian name.
he has an argonian name because he was raised by two argonian fishermen. whoever his parents were, they were on a merchant ship that crashed off the coast of the black marsh. there were a few survivors, but his parents weren't among them. his dads saw an abandoned infant and simply decided that was their child now.
he was a pain in the ass for his dads. he had NO self preservation skills, wanted to befriend every animal he saw including huge fuckoff monsters that wanted to eat him, and had all the stealth of a bull in a china shop. gradually, and with great patience, they managed to teach him how to be stealthy.
he grew up worshiping the hist and sithis. because of this, he joined the dark brotherhood without question. lucien said the name "sithis" and lyrius was already half-naked with enthusiasm.
he did fall in love with lucien over the course of the db questline, but we all know how that ends.
despite being a murderer for fun and profit, he's incredibly sweet, friendly, and outgoing. everyone is his friend, according to him anyway.
he was in jail in cyrodiil for murder. he got caught at the scene before he could leave and instead of resisting or denying it he just went "oopsie! haha" and went to jail
Ref of my new oc Dr. Mal.P.Ractice eheheh part of a friend groups au.

my oc Pierson Carter (he/him), commissioned from JMakesArtticus on Etsy. i will never recover from this.
I should make summaries for my OCs so that when I just. Spout nonsense about them it can make some KIND of sense. People here don’t even know about Mavka’s three moms
As much as it is helpful for me, as a modern person, to assign my ocs modern labels in my little meta-text, i really do enjoy exploring what their gender and sexuality would have looked like in the context of the Societies they lived in, even (and especially!) with the Neath itself being more accepting!!!
Elias is never going to pass, even by modern day standards, but of course, they have a role to live up to and fit in with, and that already kind of superceeds their gender. Being fat leads to feminization and de-masculination in society, but being a wheelchair user leads to total de-gendering anyways. They're intersex, and always have been, but because surgeries were so dangerous back then on the Surface, they never had to face anything 'corrective', and when they got to the neath they were able to get a small surgery explicitly for the purpose of making penetrative sex more comfortable, something that *they* wanted. They still have their soft facial hair, but are bearded ladies still seen in carnivals whenever there's Rubberies around? Elias accepts both the Masculine and Feminine aspects of themself, and though they lean heavily into the Feminine, they don't deny the Masculine, and they enjoy themself quite a lot! Their voice is low for a woman, yet high for a man. But is any of that taken into account when they are the Regent? Their feminity is more noticeable and prominent among the Guild in Jericho, as Gondoliers (and thus: Gonfaloniere) has always been the role of a man. So here they are, holding a Maculine role, while presenting very feminely. This isn't even getting into their relationship to 'love', where they don't feel romantic attraction as others do, but their role as Regent puts heavy pressure on that, and how they're expected to marry those of a certain birth status, and nothing less. And then their sexuality being very heavily kink based!!!
Marigold is the very picture of feminity, being a Fashion Plate Model, and wearing their hair and dressing how they do, but they do not identify as a woman. This image also decays, unable to maintain their sense of self through their abuse. Their romantic and sexual reels are also tied into pain, (kink or abuse) and extremely targeted and intense.
Thursday wouldn't read as particularly butch or masculine nowadays, but back in the victorian era they're the pinacle of masculinity for a woman!!! Bifurcated cycling skirt, and masculine tailoring tastes for their jacket and vest? Yes they still wear a corset, but listen they need the bust support. Taking active roles in things as well!
i enjoy my historical fiction for the historical!!

Also, if you ever wondered what Pauline sounds like...
I like to imagine she sounds like Tracey Moore's version of Serena from the DiC dub of Sailor Moon.
