this poor boy was the result of a decade of medical torture and experimentation. it was carried out by a depraved doctor with a very intense interest in an old soviet heart and lung machine.

he was a very sickly child. his parents brought him to the doctor's often, and upon bringing him to a new doctor at the age of 10 he never came back. he was kidnapped and forced through a long series of experiments, one of which was inspired by the doctor's obsession with an old soviet heart and lung machine called the autojektor (a real invention, be cautious looking this up as there are graphic images of dogs)

the experiments ran for a long time, before the doctor's crimes eventually got exposed to the world. he fled the facility and burnt it down to destroy all of the evidence, and anatoly is the only known survivor of both the experiments and the large fire. most of his wounds have to do with the extensive burns he suffered from but the rest are from mutilation at the hands of the doctor.
