Meet Perdita, Jubilee, and Cleo!
This is for the IkeSen Network OC event!
Meet the three sisters separated by time and space, the three sisters who fall in love with history.
Family history:
Their father fell in love with their mother while he was on vacation to Japan after being honorably discharged from the US Navy. He brought her back with him to the States, and they began their happy lives in a small, lakeside town in the Midwest. Their children, Perdita, Jubilee, and Cleo are all equally adored.
Perdita Nakamura:
A half Japanese girl with equal love for baking as well as nursing, she decides to study at a Kyoto university in hopes that she will find her true passion. Little does she know, modern day Kyoto is only a rest stop in her journey of self discovery.
Likes: French patisserie, Kennyo, practicing medicine, eating, knitting, teasing Jubilee, and babying Cleo.
Dislikes: Bitter food, heat, seeing her loved ones in pain, and not being able to understand something. Would miss most about the future: Painkillers, air conditioning, and modern ovens. Nicknames: Perdy, Neko, and Dita. Jubilee Nakamura:
Perdita’s younger sister, a girl whose stoic face masks a deep well of emotions. Following in her mother’s philanthropist footsteps, she takes a gap year to teach elementary students in Laos. Her trip takes a slight detour 500 years into the past when her flight is delayed in Kyoto.
Likes: Charity work, Shingen, books, braids, and summertime.
Dislikes: Mosquitoes, being embarassed, greedy people, being called Jubilee, and sunburns.
Would miss most about the future: Hair products, easier access to education, and showers.
Nicknames: Juju (dislikes), Jubi (dislikes), and Lee (likes).
Cleo Nakamura:
The youngest Nakamura sister, a sweet and gentle girl who wants to be just like her big sister Perdita, only her scientific mind and steady hands belong in the clinic, not the kitchen. However, an opportunity to study in a Kyoto hospital turns into a study of field medicine in the Sengoku. Likes: Biscuits (her beloved pet cat), desserts, Hideyoshi, her family, cute things, and fairy tales.
Dislikes: Cruelty, spicy food, and seeing anyone suffering.
Would miss most about the future: Her sisters, her hair ribbon collection, and cooking for her parents.
Nicknames: Changeling, Rosebud, and Gravy.
