Haven't felt like coloring lineart lately. It's kind of a pain sometimes...
Regardless, now that I'm going back to First Flight to give Psy a proper backstory, thought I'd draw his beloved angel Faith again.

Supervillain x Superheroine, Heroine POV
Was starting to get tired of looking at this. Forgot how tiring digital art can be. I still don't know if it looks good or not...
tw: drunkenness
The room grew deathly silent the moment the superheroine stepped into the bar.
She wasn’t welcome here. She knew as much from the start. Still, the secret villains’ bar had called her deliberately on her private cell phone. She couldn’t just ignore their needs.
Though the seedy tavern was home to some of the most notorious villains in the city, the agency had strict policies about only fighting the bad guys and arresting them when they were actually creating trouble for citizens. For now, Divinity had no quarrel with them.
Rather, she’d been called to pick up a particularly obnoxious villain and bring him home before the other patrons strangled him.
She bowed her head in polite greeting to the barkeep, who jerked a clawed finger in the direction of a man slouched across the bar in a fancy violet suit.
“I’m so sorry for the trouble, Kingpin,” the angelic hero said with a sigh.
The bartender gave a pained smile. “It’s not your fault. Today is your first anniversary of making it to the big leagues, right? That’s probably what did it.”
Was it today? Divinity had had her hands so full it hadn’t even crossed her mind.
Her former nemesis, on the other hand, had nothing but time to think - that, and far more alcohol than was good for his system.
“I’ll get him out of here so you nefarious folk can get some peace and quiet.”
The heroine approached the telekinetic villain Psychopath.
“Come on,” she said gently. “You can’t sleep here.”
Psychopath looked more pitiful than Faith had ever seen him as he raised his head from the bar and locked eyes with the heroine. Tears hung in the corners of his bloodshot eyes, his cheeks flushed from the liquor’s effect.
“Angel…?” he sniffled pathetically, as though not believing his eyes.
She was the only one who could get him to go at a time like this.
Her lips tugged into a sorry excuse for a smile.
“It’s me.” She nodded. “Let’s go home.”
A smile whine passed his lips. “Don’t wanna go home. You’re not there.”
Divinity rolled her eyes. “Well, you can’t stay here. The other villains are getting sick of your crying.”
She carefully slung one of his arms over her shoulders. He furiously wiped away his tears on his other sleeve.
“‘M not crying.”
She exhaled a sigh. “Of course you’re not. Come on. One foot in front of the other.”
It took a little finesse but Faith guided her drunken ex-nemesis from the bar. There were a few times his drunken stumbling almost caused her to trip but, somehow, they left the tavern behind without too much chaos and headed down the street.
Divinity hated that she still remembered where the villain’s apartment was.
“You’ve got to move on at some point, Psy.”
Faith kept her eyes forward as she walked, but her ex-nemesis’s eyes were ever on her.
“Tried fightin’ other heroes, but they’re not you.”
She drew in a deep breath, then slowly exhaled.
“I’ve got my hands full with other villains, you know. You can’t keep breaking down like this.”
“But I miss you.”
A beat.
A heartbeat skipped.
Did he even realize what he was making this sound like? A bad break up! That's what!
“It’s not like we had anything special, Psy. You committed crimes, and I stopped you. Anyone could fill my spot.”
“No.” He stubbornly refused to take another step forward.
Another exasperated sigh was pulled from Divinity’s lungs.
“What now?”
“It was special. Maybe not for you. But it was for me.” He stared hard into her eyes as his lips trembled. “You were my only nemesis, Angel. You will always be my only nemesis.”
Her gaze softened. It really was like a breakup to him.
“You’re a real handful, you know that?”
A desperate grin parted his lips.
“All I ask is that I’m in your hands.”
The heroine made a silent vow to herself to put a stop to Psychopath’s evil plans a little more often.
Haven’t felt like drawing anything for months with how crazy life has been. Finally had the energy to doodle some new OCs.
Might color this one day but, for now, this is as good as it gets.
