Status: Five years have gone by ever since the Inkblot outbreak
Captain's Log #1827
"This is Agent 3, Kibo Cuttlefish speaking, son of Doto Cuttlefish and now Captain of the NSS and Leader over the refuge.
My father has passed on peacefully, and I would like to summarize all the work he has done for the past 5 years. He has created a safe place inside the Crater, with his wisdom he has pushed us Inklings, Octolings and even mixed breeds to create a place we can rest our heads and help each other out. He has been leading for 5 years and soon after his wife died, he has been sick and bedridden. Yet he still lead on with rescues and operations for a cure.
He wasn't exactly the best father figure to me, but I still miss him. He tried his best to raise me as his daughter and trained me as his son.
[ he sighs as he tosses his Captain's hat down ]
I'll be trying my best, to lead the people towards a safe haven, and perhaps even find the cause of this outbreak personally if I have to."
