Lac and Desten
Lac and Desten are brothers who come from a bad home, with only one of them willing to admit it. They are also gods but that's more of a title than anything else. Not that the two ever cared for it. Lac ran away at a young age, hurt and tired of dealing with their parents and the jealousy brimming under his skin of his younger brother being more loved than he'd ever be for reasons he could never figure out. Desten stayed, confused and hurt at Lac's disappearance. Once he was old enough, his parents sent him out to do his godly duties and to, maybe, earn a few life experiences. It's only after he's been on earth for few years that he meets his brother again. His brother who's nothing like the person he once knew, despite Desten's attempts to rekindle their relationship and reason with Lac's baseless hatred. The two argue constantly because Desten refuses to believe or listen to Lac slandering their parents and blaming their father for things Desten refuses to believe happened or were bad things. Lac claims, in a moment of anger and after a few traded blows and knives thrown, that Desten was always the favourite. Ever since their little match, Lac hasn't tried to talk sense into him. Not that Desten considers Lac's words to have any truth or sense to them. But Lac, his anger fueling his every move and decision, has aimed his knives and daggers at Desten's throat ever since. There's been times where the two have been able to somewhat get along or tolerate each other if they both have a common goal, but those are very few and very far between. After a particular harsh and violent fight, Desten is left with a dagger next to his heart. The only signs of his attacker being a few tears still staining Desten's clothes. Desten only survived because he had a deal with a certain time traveler he's worked with a few times before came looking for him after he failed to show up.
