20. If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?
Oh this one would stump Manoj for sure. He's overflowing with love, and the lines wouldn't be really clear to him. If you asked him, he'd probably think, blurt out "well I want to fuck my husband?", and then look utterly horrified before laughing.
21. Why do they get up in the morning?
Emotionally? He gets out of bed everyday for Ananda and Evan. He's got to be the strongest link some days, and also he lives in a household of grumpy morning people asjfh. Practically, he gets up in the morning for Fajr, and then to head to work lol (days start way too early for forestry workers!)
22. How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?
Manoj isn't jealous by nature. If he did in some universe get jealous over Evan, he'd probably wait until they were alone and try and talk it out. Yay communication!
23. How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?
Manoj thinks envy is a bad look, so outwardly he doesn't get envious. Inwardly though, he might be sour to whomever he was jealous of, and then hate himself for it.
24. Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom?
He's very sex-positive, but he definitely wouldn't be talking to like his dad or auntie about what he and Evan get up to in bed lmao. Comfortable, but still private.
25. What are their thoughts on marriage?
Manoj is married to Evan sdjkhg so um. He believes in marriage sjkdfhg. Beyond that, he is annoyed with the culture around marriage, ie spouse hating, expensive weddings, be all end all of relationships, ball n chain type shit.
I. Attempted to draw Manoj with the new oil pastels I bought for class, but uh. Yeahhh. The box only had really dark brown and “skin tone” (white ppl skin) for skintones. And then I drew at an angle like a dumbass so it’s all wonky too (first pic is. About the angle I was at, but closer idk)
Not my best, but I certainly learnt a lot about oil pastels!
OC questions huh? Hm then how about.. question for Manoj: if there’s one thing - no matter when and what - about his life that he could change, what would it be?
“Shit, big question, my guy!” Manoj laughs. He’s relaxed, and leaning back in his chair, thinking it over. His fingers drum on his thigh, and his other hand rakes through his hair.
“Well... This is cheesy as fuck, but... I’d probably choose to tell Evan I loved him sooner. I’d known for years, before we were dating and after we started dating. It...” He pauses, and considers his words, “Caused a lot of unhappiness, on both sides.”
“I was scared out of my mind! I’ve never been in love with anyone else, and before him, I thought I only liked women.” He laughs at himself, “It was weird, going from thinking I was a lesbian, to thinking I was straight.”
“Shit, I’m rambling, sorry. Yeah. I’d tell him I loved him.” He says again, with a smile.
