Another Cultist OC
Hey guys !! So this is a character from my Aster Seed series and I wanted to introduce him because I want him to have a bigger part in the next chapters. :)
BASICS :
Name : Nicholas Attwell.
Age : 20 years old.
Sexuality and gender : heterosexual male (but maybe just a little bi-curious).
Eden’s Gate Title : one of Jacob’s soldier (and a damn good one), soon to be VIP.
Face claim : Dane Dehaan.
BACKSTORY :
He grew up in Hope County, in the Henbane region.
He had a pretty happy and normal childhood.
His parents, big brother, and little sister all follow the Project and so does he.
They got relocated to the Whitetails because men were needed there and they never left since.
But his parents eventually left to go work for Joseph at his compound so he lives with his two siblings.
He spends most of his time working at the Veteran Center.
OTHER INFOS :
Favorite weapon : slingshot or shotgun.
Bliss exposure : little, he’s been under its influence just a few times.
Sins : Lust (carved on his lower back).
PERSONALITY :
Really sweet, sensitive and caring.
His personality doesn’t really match Jacob’s usual soldiers’ personality...
But he’s strong and determined.
He’s optimistic and patient.
RELATIONSHIPS :
Warren Attwell : his 24 years old brother. They don’t get along well. Warren is really impulsive and Nicholas think he’s toxic for their little sister.
Evelyn Attwell : his 15 years old sister. He would protect her with his life if he had to. He doesn’t see her enough because of all the work at the Vet Center, but he calls her everyday.
Jacob Seed : he really admires him and respects him. He went through all his trials and Jacob think he’s a skilled soldier, even if he’s a bit too sensitive.
Aster Seed : they’ve became friends since they both spend a lot of time at the Vet Center. He’s a bit intimidated by her because she seems so confident (or at least he thinks so).
I can’t wait to talk more about my sweet Nicholas !! :D So feel free to ask questions about him via the questions lists available here or simply from your imagination lol.

Prompt : “Why the hell is there glitter everywhere ?”

Aster was as bored as it gets. Her leg was still in a bad shape and she had read all the books on her shelf. She opened the window and hummed the cult song which was playing over the speakers -Set Those Sinners Free- for a while.
She looked a the time : 5:35pm. She thought for a few minutes and guessed that Nicholas had finished his training for the day. She clumsily took her clutches and limped towards the men quarters. Nicholas was sharing a room with another soldier... Luke ? Maybe, Aster couldn’t remember his name since he was barely around. If she remembered correctly, he had a wife and he only stayed at the Center when he had no other choice. So Nicholas was probably alone and she could hang out with him for a while ; maybe he’d have some good stories to tell her.
A few people greeted her before she arrived in front of Nicholas’ door, 104. She knocked and heard him moving around inside. He sounded stressed for some reason and Aster got closer to the door to try and hear what was happening inside.
“Nick ?” she called, a bit worried.
“One minute !”
When he finally opened the door, he was breathing noisily, almost like he was out of breath. Aster raised a brow and looked him in the eyes. She noticed something on his cheek and, when she got closer to take a good look at the suspicious speck, he almost looked scared.
“Man, chill out ! You just have a glitter or something on your face,” she sighed as she rubbed his cheek to get rid of the said glitter.
He laughed nervously and shoved his hands in his pocket. “Sooo what are you doing here ?”
“Just thought we could hang out for a bit. Did your training went okay this morning ?”
He nodded, silent. When she tried to move towards the door, Nicholas stopped her, putting his whole body in front of her. This time, she was definitely weirded out. Of course Nicholas often acted a little awkward... But not that much !
“Nick, what’s going on ?”
“Nothing,” he answered way too quickly.
“Are you hiding a body in here or something ?”
Nicholas started mumbling some excuses and Aster took advantage of this to rush past him, opening the door with her shoulder and almost falling inside. Nicholas was rambling and trying to get Aster out of his room, but it was a bit too late for that.
When Aster actually looked at Nicholas’ room, she almost choked on her chuckles. Glue and glitter were covering the whole floor. She had to be careful not to walk directly into the mess.
“Hey Nick... Why the hell is there glitter everywhere ?” she asked as calmly as she could, pressing her lips together so she wouldn’t laugh out loud.
“I- I was trying to make you a birthday card... I got the glitter from my sister but I couldn’t open the vial until... Well, yeah.” he gestured towards the floor and rubbed his neck. His face was turning redder every second and Aster actually wondered if he could still breathe.
Finally, to relieve him from the stress painted on his face, Aster just pulled him closer to her and hugged him briefly. “You’re so sweet Nick... But so, so clumsy.”
“Yeah, I know,” he grinned, but his cheeks were still crimson.
“Come on, let’s clean this mess up.”

Nicholas is the sweetest, but that also means he cares a lot about others, what they think and so on... And he’s not the best with stress tbh. He just gets really anxious and he has no coping mechanisms whatsoever... So everything just piles up until he passes out and/or the source of his stress disappears.
