May I ask how he copes with the loss of his religion/ the great journey? His wiki seems like he was pretty devout, or does he just cover all that up with his anger now lol
He definitely felt a lot of anger, not just at the Prophets, but at everything and everyone. Most of all himself, for falling for their lies, for wasting his life, basically. He felt so lost, scared, angry. That one great battle he took part in, against the Jiralhanae, it kind of gave him a new purpose. While he was no longer a part of the Covenant and would now do anything in his power to destroy it, he's still a Sangheili, and he fought for his own people and their survival, and that kind of gave him a new purpose, and some pride he could hold onto.
It will take a long time for him to fully heal from a betrayal like this, but this new purpose he found gave him the strength to keep going. And yes, he has a very angry approach to it, it's his defense mechanism. But he's strong and determined and will definitely be okay.
Finally made a proper reference for Riso in his armor. Super hard to draw but I mean it was my first attempt at a full piece of Sangheili armor

Tell me about that Riso fellow
Riso... yes...yes...... a former Covenant Blademaster, Riso 'Namanai, he is now part of the Swords of Sanghelios. Right now what I have for him is that he meets Cody in 2555, and personality wise they have a lot in common. Meeting Cody and getting to know him and working with him helped him overcome some of the hatred he still held for humans. I don't have an exact age for him yet but he's quite young and shorter than average. He's ambitious and can't accept failure. He's kind of a dumbass sometimes, just like Cody is
