Fighting off cabin fever due to snow by drawing my TADC oc! It feels nice to be making art again. This is Bubo!

She is an intimidating character of few words, and often (unintentionally) creeps the others out. However, she is quietly ride or die for Caine.

I’m a sucker for cartoon couples that give off Jessica/Roger or Morticia/Gomez vibes. Gotta love a tall intimidating character and a silly lil guy that wholeheartedly love one other.

Questions are greatly appreciated! I’m still sort of figuring things out as far as her character nuances, but man I’m having a good time

I’ve been fixating on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack for a while, and was inspired by the show itself (as well as the amazing blog @the-spirit-of-adventure and their fantastic AUs, especially the future AU which is where these guys are placed chronologically)

Siblings Ben and Penelope Bow are new to Stormalong Harbor. Ben is a marine biologist passionate about sea life and increasing public knowledge of it. He sometimes ventures off to the neighboring islands to make new discoveries, and picked Stormalong as a central hub to come home to. He is a nervous Nelly and prefers to curl up with a good book whenever possible.

His sister Pen is quite the opposite, and is an aspiring adventurer! Sweet but reckless, she wants to be an official adventuring apprentice. Not one to crush her dreams, Ben reluctantly agrees to let her try as long as he can keep an eye on her. He’s quite protective of his kid sister and just wants her to be safe and happy.
