I would like to hear how Milo and Wade got together-
Okay, so I can’t go into detail considering it’ll be spoilers, but I’ll tell you the main stuff! Also be mindful that this stuff needs development, haha!
After Milo ended up in the Winter Forest Region, Wayde was the one who found him passed out from the cold. He brings him back to his home and his family take care of him until he wakes up. To begin with, the pair have a big divide between them considering they’re from opposite sides of the world, and Milo is Deaf, so Wayde’s primary way of connecting with someone (talking audibly) is ineffective. He isn’t rude to him or purposely being malicious by any means, he simply doesn’t know how to communicate with him because talking is the only way he knows how.
As for Milo, he thinks Wayde is easily understandable through expressions, albeit a bit annoying and impossible to lipread. He clashes with him a little because Wayde just charges ahead without even considering asking for his opinion or plan, and prefers to do things solo in his own manner rather than following a reckless man who doesn’t even tell him what they’re doing because he can’t hear them.
But after certain events, Wayde finally realises that it’s him who needs to take the step forward and learn to understand him (literally, by learning sign) rather than expecting him to just understand. In return, Milo can see past his recklessness and can tell him when he’s going in solo or adds something to a plan. Through Milo feeling listened to and Wayde finally listening, they start to see past the communication and see parts of each other that they never saw to begin with.
And then they fall in love! :D
