In our shared story, we've created an original Circle, where Dwayne has lived for most of his life without much excitement. That is, until Cyril is brought in. A mage prisoner collected from Tevinter, Cyril is nothing like the others. In fact, he’s unlike anyone Dwayne has ever met.
Jamie, on the other hand, never felt safe in his own magic. To protect himself, he made the painful choice to become Tranquil; to give up emotion and connection in exchange for safety. But shortly after Cyril arrives, Jamie unexpectedly turns up at the Circle, soaked from rain and shaken, carrying stories of the destruction of his own Circle.
That destruction didn’t come alone. A demon followed in its wake. Though our Circle survives the encounter, something more troubling is left behind: Jamie’s tranquility seems... undone.
