Robin is nothing more than an apothecary, spending his days concocting remedies and pining after the crown prince. That all changes when he finds out he’s the Saint, a being blessed with the power to heal anyone with a touch. Suddenly, the crush he thought was hopeless is now paying attention to him, just as his childhood friend returns from the war front and pledges to protect him. Robin is overjoyed to have the ability to help people–-until he realizes the king plans to restrict and exploit his powers. Can Robin find a way to stay true to himself? Or will he be swallowed up by a world in which he doesn’t belong?

After HOURS of work and several vague posts complaining about it, I am happy to present:

I spent a lot of time actually rendering this instead of half-assing it like I tend to do (I get bored/impatient with a drawing pretty easily) and even cleaning up the lineart to make it look GOOD instead of just passable.

I find both wings and armor fairly hard to draw so putting them both in one piece was a bit of a challenge (although the biggest challenge was keeping up my motivation) and the color palette gave me hell, seeing as it's 90% grey. I also got a *little* lazy on the background but I hate backgrounds and spent enough time on this already.

This was also a bit of a test to see if I could keep my motivation up enough to make a piece I'm genuinely proud of---with quality good enough that I'd feel comfortable offering it to others. I'm considering opening commissions some time in the next year or so (if my schedule allows).
