First post for brush week 2025! I plan to finish all of the brushes but I won't be doing it on time. I will be using Seraph (she/her) as my model for this challenge!

Okay I'm gonna ramble a bit about some side(?) characters I finally designed then!!

So Angel's story/lore is that she was a member of a choir (Heavenly Choir joke teehee) but since she had such an amazing singing voice, she ended up getting an offer that let her make it big on her own. But one day she flew too close to the sun (metaphorically but also sort of literally- she's made of wax and feathers and flew too close to a very hot spotlight while trying to show off) and melted her face and wings off as well as damaging her voice, which is her Current state where I usually draw her.

Those Three Choir members can be seen here- Throne, Seraph, and Cherub. They're all quite nice people! Seraph is always calm and soft spoken and seems to never get mad, Throne has a great sense of humor and is kind of a party girl, and Cherub is the quiet type that's got a key sense for knowing how people are feeling and is the best wingman one could ask for.

the "Good Ending" for her story- the CANON ending- involves her reuniting with these Choir members and them becoming friends again and them helping her get stabilized and back on her feet- because even though they did have a pretty major falling out when Angel left the choir (very much Angel's fault. She's not the nicest person and has to grow and change), she's... going through a lot, lost all of the things she valued herself by, and Throne Seraph and Cherub are good enough people to be willing to want to help her once she LETS them by reaching out first.

A key visual element of this 'Good Ending' is that they also end up giving her some of their feathers with which to repair her wings. Somewhat undecided if this is strictly a visuals thing or if it actually lets her regain the ability to fly. Right now, I think it does allow her to fly again, but since these aren't her feathers they fall out pretty quickly if she flies, so she can only do it so long as she is regularly receive support and assistance to regain the lost feathers.

Now if they see at all, it’s through their Shadow, Eyes’ visions- living a few seconds into the future quite literally now, and more dependant on it than ever

i might redo seraphs reference sheet-despite it being barely close to finished) now that i have a clearer idea about how it would look

and the face ive just been struggling on far too long that i just cant tweak anymore, i need clear canvas

since his nanite arm can transform into a spike i figured the weight would be distributed from the bottom to back up when its in the actual hand form
