Play CAIN
Notes and facts, from the CAIN ttrpg:
Shit man, this psychic war is fucked. I just saw a guy clap his hands together and say "tormented inner world: roiling desert" or some similar shit, and everything in five blocks turned into a screaming sandstorm that ripped people's fucking skin off. the camera didn't even go onto him, that's how common shit like this is. my ass is using Hound blood frag grenades and i can only handle one protective talisman without dying. I think I just heard "In the Court, Air is Sharp" two groups over. I gotta get the fuck outta here.
So I'm in a table top roleplaying group at my college and we started out with D&D, but we've recently began a campaign with a new system called CAIN.
There's literally no good way to describe this ttrpg to a newbie that would concisely get the point across but basically "Psychically awakened and very traumatized young adults/children are forced to be exorcists by the morally corrupt shadow government where they fight evil demon things" is the closest i can get.
Anyway, this is all an excuse to share my art of my character. I keep track of my character sheet via a fake "notebook" that I have created digitally. It also contains character drawings, session notes, and other silly stuff that I thought would be fitting.
So, introducing: Shay Bradbury, the most unlikable exorcist on the squad.
I'm sorry that none of this probably makes sense. Just know he has been called the most successful exorcist on the squad after one-shotting a boss. But also everyone hates him after he killed a seventeen year old boy.
I get that the style of this piece doesn't quite fit into the vibe of rest of the book
But damn "I am worthy of the ARK, and I hope to God you can't swim" is one of the hardest things I've ever heard

Her blasphemy is a homebrewed one I'm currently working on (you can see the icon there!) Inspired heavily by things like bloodborne, darkwood, and hunt showdown!
