Unless something in his life changes(story is always changing ;) ), Myles will finally be on the right track to getting his voice back as he gets older. But at this point. He's not sure if he actually wants it. Is life where he wants it right now? Is his parents fortune really worth all the trouble he's gone through? All the friends he's lost? If he has a significant other that might influence things as well.

Myles is in his late 20′s like 26-28. *goes off a little*
he lost his ability to speak at 15 when he insulted a wizards girlfriend. The wizard turned out to be an extremely powerful magic user and now Myles is on a journey to get his voice back. He’s sorta wandering where he wants searching for the wizard that cursed him. His little dragon Fletcher speaks for him, using a power I haven’t completely thought through yet? But Fletcher can mimic human speech impeccably.
