Is there like a family tree thing you have for Faust, Janek or Robin? Curious about their backstory and all that

Ooooh buckle up for a very looong post :D

Faust was hatched a very long time ago and she doesn't even remember her parents.

Crows however are connected to Janek's family. The Corbards are this very old family, I showed some previous people who were Faust’s partners here and here. More info about crows here, here and here.

(fun fact: all born Corbards have middle names that start with letter A)

Okay, so a lot of stuff I have about Corbards are some loose stuff but I’ll try to explain everything as best as I can ^^

Janek has an older brother, Emil. Emil was partially responsible for Janek being bitten by a werewolf. In summary, when they were kids, Emil dared Janek to spend a night at a cemetery, the boys didn’t knew about the danger that was waiting there (more about it here and here). He has a loving boyfriend Matt (that’s kinda a placeholder name, I don’t really feel it) they’ve been together since high school. Emil works a lot in a local hospital as a nurse. The brothers have a very sweet and loving relationship, they know they can always relay on each other. Emil often protected Janek from bullies, when they were younger.

Tobias was never a good father nor a husband, he left his wife and older son before Janek was born. And now, this part is super-super under development (tw for murder and suicide), I haven’t thought about it a lot but Tobias shortly after that has murdered the rest of his family (parents, brothers, sisters etc.) and killed himself. The only remaining Corbards left were Emil, Janek and Miranda. What he did was so awful, there’s even a saying that “The Corbard crows flinch when they hear his name.” Since the birds are immortal, they were all witnesses to what happened.

Miranda is… well not really a single mom, but about that later. I haven’t come up with what she does for a living, but I imagine it’s some sort of office-based job. After her failed marriage she developed a relationship with her work colleague. I haven’t come up with a name for her (as we established already I’m terrible with names), but the boys treat her like a part of the family, which at some point becomes reality. See, the day before her and Miranda’s wedding was the day Janek and Robin decided to start their own relationship (he asked her to be his plus one, and stuff just developed from there.

 As for Robin’s family, there’s not much I have right now. The family is however very big, her parents have a lot of siblings, so Robin has a lot of cousins, her parents compare her to. An important family member that’s worth mentioning is Robin’s aunt. She doesn’t have a name yes (of course) but she’s the person Robin lives with after getting a job in Janek’s hometown. There’s some information about Robin’s family here.

I think that’s all the stuff I have so far? As I mentioned it’s mostly loose stuff, so I might change it in the future, like, what I wrote here wasn’t even the first version. If you read all of this, wow, kudos to you.

R: “Don’t fucking scare me like that.. going silent like that when I just told you tha- he kissed her again grabbing her tightly to his body, nipping her bottom lip and shake his head a little at her. T: “Shut up.” He whispered, watching Ruby chuckle, feeling her arms wrap around him, fingers grazing the back of his neck, leaning in just to bit and tug at his bottom lip. R: “Don’t tell me what to do.” Tobias let out a pleasurable chuckle and lifted Ruby up into his arms.

Moving them over to the couch and sat down keeping Ruby in his lap.

T:“Is that a challenge?” Ruby hummed and slowly licked his lips.

before speaking so sweet to him.

R: “Always.” She whispered into the side of his face close to his ear trailing her lips back to his.

T: “.. why didn’t you tell me..?”

R: “I… I didn’t know how too….. I just…fuck…. I didn’t want it to be done over the phone… I didn’t want it to be first thing I said when you walked in....I didn’t want it to be real…”

Tobias took cautious steps towards Ruby, not knowing how she would react... she can be quite unpredictable.. and in moments when he felt like she needed a hug, she actually wanted space. T: "Ruby.."

R: “I just wanted it to be you and me…. Okay… I just…”

T: "I am so fucking sorry..."

T: "Going through that alone... making you feel like you couldn't tell me right when you found out...by having you in this position where you have to make this choice.. you know that last thing I want you to feel is alone….”

R: "its not just my choice… its yours too and I’m sorry for thinking that i couldn't tell you...I’m really sorry… I told myself the last thing I want to do it hurt you..”

Ruby gently twirled the curls around her finger on the back of his neck feeling him get quite heavy on her shoulder. "come on lets sit you down..."

Once Tobias sat he couldn't help but stare at her stomach, something that they made together had now found home in there... growing at each passing day, and to see the worrisome and concern rise in Ruby's eye once he lift his head to meet her gaze.

He knew he was going to have to be fast with his questions, if he wanted the answers he was seeking. Made it a point to keep the questions to the point and short.

T: “You’re pregnant?”

R: “I am pregnant.”

T: “do you know how far along you are?”

R: “nope.”

T: “do you know what you want to do?”

R: "yeah..no…..I am sorry... i don't... god.. i don't even know how to go about this... and quite frankly i have been in fucking denial about it.. so you asking me so directly just shattered my delusions..I had a whole speech and you ruined it.." she gave him a small defeated smile Tobias gave a quick glance up and down and sighed "I mean on a lighter note.. you look absolutely beautiful…."

T: "because i mean you are already pregnant... -he shrugged- and these ribbons seem very easy to just undo right about now. but besides that - he paused realizing there was no relation to his very pervert comment moments ago- wow you didn't hit me.."

Ruby sighed "Well... i am letting it slide... it's letting me know you don't hate me at least." she stated with a nervous chuckle

Tobias brows bunched and relaxed with her words only to be taken aback at the word hate coming from her lips. with a bit of force, he pulled Ruby to him and kissed her, reminding her not just with words but with actions that he couldn't hate her even if he had a reason which he didn't.

T: "Ruby.." Tobias cupped her cheek and caressed his thumb along her skin "Don't ever say that. I could never hate you.. i am more fucking worried about you hating me for getting you pregnant.. but here you are worried more about my feelings on it than your own..."

T: "i could never hate you Ruby and to even think that i would, when i had just as much fault in this as you did. Is absurd."

T: "i love you, you stubborn woman." Ruby sighed at his words and folded into him. he was so soft, so caring with her, despite the situation...he was so much more calmer than her and first she thought he could just be faking it but he genuinely was just calm, she could see it in his eyes when he looked at her, how his touch moved gently across her skin.

R: you really can’t do no wrong can you..”

Tobias pulled ruby against him and sighed trying to think on what they were going to do.. trying to figure out what was the right thing to do.. He too came to the realization that neither one of them ever took the time to discuss what they would do if this happened.. but now they had no choice but to discuss it.

T: “Baby I am not perfect… I do things wrong too.. I am just trying to be here for you in the best way I can.. because you might not want to admit it but I know you need me right now..”

Ruby was silent at his words only to nuzzle her nose into his shirt “I do need you… i missed you.. and I should have told you.. i should have”

Tobias hand gently caressed along her back leaning down to kiss the top of her head.

T: “whenever you need me and I mean whenever, i am here no matter what day, time, what I am doing? you are my priority..”

R: "okay.. i want to know.. how do you feel about kids? Do you see yourself being a father one day? It seems only right under these circumstances that i ask..”

Tobias hummed against Ruby's lips and slowly backed away just to fully open the front door for her. T: "We can revisit that later." his eyes watching her walk past him into his house and closing it behind him. At first ruby wasn’t really paying attention she was to busy inhaling the air around her. “it smells like him…” her eyes wandered over coming to the candlelight table and-

R: “Burgers? You made us burgers?” her statement sounded more excited than she wanted to but she had been craving a burger all day, and now that it was presented before her she couldn’t help but lightly wiggle her way over only for her brow to raise and stare at the…

R: “What the fuck is this ?” she pointed at the dick plushie that sat in the spare chair close by to a fresh set of lilies, red ones. Her favorite. Tobias hummed “Huh?” before laughing realizing what she was actually looking at “It’s a dick plushy you can add it to your shrine. Kyle (his boss) bought us all one as a joke but the second I saw it, it was for you.” Ruby’s mouth fell open, covering it with her hand as she stared at the cutest plushie she believed to ever have laid her eyes on “…….it’s so fucking cute… look at the fucking eyes on the head.”

T: “See and that is why I am giving it to you…” T: “Come on you can gush over him later, let's eat, I am fucking starving” Tobias stated as he headed towards the kitchen. Ruby nodded her head, she was once again hungry, and the burgers looked unbelievably good. undoing her coat to reveal the dress she had on underneath. Tobias had just retrieved more napkins from the kitchen making his way back to the table only to stop.

A few napkins spilled from his hand while he was just staring at her, his eyes wandering and thoughts he probably shouldn’t have right now as they were about to sit down for dinner.

Ruby stared back at him and then down at herself only to raise her head with a smirk “You like?” Tobias nodded still not able to speak and huffed. T: “fuck me.. damn you look good.. shit. I probably should be a little more sly about that but… if I am being honest I am ready to skip to dessert.” Ruby chuckled and put her hand on her hip “What makes you think you are getting dessert?” Tobias had made his way to the table setting the napkins down and coming around to pull her chair out, adjusting just enough to turn his body towards her and lock eyes with her  T: “Because you knew what you were doing by wearing this outfit… you don’t fool me”

R: “You sure about that ?” Ruby smirked and gently ran her hand along his arm while she slid into the chair. only for her chin to be cupped and tilted up to meet Tobias's seductive brown eyes.

He sighed while he studied her expression. He loved how cheeky and subtly devious Ruby could be. He laughed lightly while running his thumb along her red-wine-tinted lips.

T: “you are such a tease”

T: “tell me…” his voice was soft and so were his eyes. She wasn’t anxious because it was him… honestly he was the reason why she mostly felt calm and able to freely speak. But it was her that she was anxious about, the fact that she was even feeling the things she was feeling to begin with. She swallowed hard.

R: “I was so drunk… and an absolute mess, yet you didn’t judge me, sure you were fucked up too but I don’t know I felt safe… I feel safe with you.. and I been so selfish from the very beginning… I knew and know how you feel about me.. but I was in denial.. and in a sense I used it to my advantage which wasn’t right.. but I just didn’t know how to show my appreciation the right way.. I don’t know what changed… well I do… I got scared.. I got hurt.. but it wasn’t even from the person I loved.. but the surrounding factors, and I'm scared that it will happen again.. I am scared that this will be so good and than something happens and I run away..”

Tobias at first didn’t know what to expect but the more he listened the more he realized this was Ruby being her most open with him.. she was letting him into her head.. her safest space, a vault behind another vault. His hands subtly rubbed her arms giving her a sign of reassurance. Ruby felt a large lump in her throat, her breathing had picked up and her hand began to ball up into a fist on his shirt “ I ….. i…” she let out a shakey breath and stomped her feet lightly “fuck this is so har-

Tobias stopped her racing thoughts with a single move and kissed her, it was soft but intimate, leaving her to let out a soft moan and lean into the kiss more.

When he pulled away he was about to say something but Ruby stopped his whole world with three words.

R: “ I love you…. And it’s not just in a way that I love the person you are, I mean it is.. but I also.. really love you Tobias.. I know it took me a while to get here.. and I am scared of this.. but I realized that I don’t want to run from you like I have with everyone else..”

His eyes were wide and his mouth fell open, at first it was understandable… Ruby saying words like that didn’t even seem to be in her vocabulary, but she said it to him.. the person who had been in love with her probably since the first time he saw her. He was a ball of emotions internally but externally he seemed like he had been frozen in time. Just staring at her.

Ruby once again was becoming anxious.. his silence was understandable but she couldn’t read if it was good or bad despite what she may know.. saying something like that to courage Espacially in her case.

R: “Tobias…Please…. Say something.. I just told you I love you and you are just staring at me, as if you just found out that your father is not your father.” yet Tobias was still just stuck and Ruby lightly pushed him feeling partially rejected by his silence, but when she tried to move away that was when Tobias checked back in,

Pulling Ruby right back into a very passionate kiss. The kiss was indeed lustful but now it wasn’t just their bodies they wanted.. but more.. Love.

Tobias pulled away just enough to feel her rapid breath against his lip, resting his forehead against hers as if she was the only thing keeping him from fading away. When he finally caught some of his breath he lifted his head to lock eyes with her. T: “I love you.” He stated watching as Ruby’s eye flickered and a small smile creeped up on her lips just for a gentle nudge to follow
