I drew this waaaaay back and its still one of my favorite arts of them, even if it's not perfect.

Also included: Opal not feeling quite sure what to make of this guy who claims to have beef with everybody in town but won't leave Opal alone for some reason.

between opal and ivy, i definitely have wayyy more things nailed down for opal lol

i Did decide to give them ocular albinism and they're somewhere in the genderqueer umbrella (she/they...might use ve/ver?? idk i haven't decided)

as glenwood's baker, opal provides a lot of the baked goods at liza's diner and loves to bake with ivy 💕usually whenever she tries out a new recipe, she has either ivy, rose, or liza taste test because they are celiac and can't eat gluten lol

which is why they decided to be a baker actually ^^

they noticed that it was hard for them to find affordable recipes and things that Wouldn't Hurt, and originally got into it as a hobby in their teens ^^ sometime in high school and college she took a few business classes and realised that they could just. make food. for other people like her too. when beth found out opal was celiac, she Insisted on sniffing her food beforehand like a service dog even though they both know she didn't have to.

beth and opal watched ALL of supernatural together. opal resonates with sam. don't ask me about supernatural i know Very Little i only watched season one

opal also has issues with her back because every time she has a vision they're hunching. Every time.

playing with the idea of opal having ocular or total albinism

probably among the first few of my characters to have albinism, but ocular albinism specifically would be interesting as well, given the focus on her eyes as a seer.

its mentioned the eye colour of seers change when they have a vision, and really pale blue eyes can take different subtle hues based on lighting, so i was thinking of playing with that.

but total albinism would also be kinda sick?? just because of the way it gives me more to play with when it comes to her body image, self-care, and colour palettes
