Once settled in and ready to make changes, Albus Dumbledore took on the position of Minister of Magic. His first step was making several staffing changes and using threats as a way of ensuring he got compliance and no one breathed an unhappy word about the newest changes.
Position Changes:
Frank Longbottom was asked to take on the position of Head Auror with Kingsley Shacklebolt as his second in command. Auror Moody willingly stepped down to simply holding an auror position.
Edgar Bones now holds the Bones’ family’s position on the Wizengamot. Amelia did not seem pleased when returning her uniform but didn’t say a word about it.
Amelia Bones can now be found working in the Minister’s office as Dumbledore’s assistant.
Minerva McGonagall is now the headmistress at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Lucius Malfoy will be giving up the position of head liaison for the Department of International Magical Co-operation. The Ministry is currently looking for a replacement.
Rita Skeeter has been promoted from writer for the Daily Prophet to the Ministry’s media coordinator.
Ted Tonks has been promoted to the head of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes.
The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures is preparing for the New Year. Department to department cooperation is expected while it prepares to take a new approach toward its divisions.
