It featured @favianna1 @dreadscottart @zoebuckman & @nataliegwenfrank @trevorpaglen (GENIUS) @justinbriceguariglia @cauleen_smith #latoyarubyfrazier (GENIUS) #occupymuseums . I️ appreciate the attempts by the media highlight more of our work. We need it more. I️ believe all artists art activists. ALL ART IS POLITICAL. The beauty of art is that we don’t all agree, and we use different forms and methods to make our statements. The question of the day is what does Creative Patriotism look like? Creative people are best suited to solve the problems of now and build a better future. It’s an all hands on deck job. I hope every newspaper magazine and website feature more artists and designers who are willing to speak up for what they believe, whether or not the work looks political the artist is making a statement.
