Cardboard, Posterboard, Foamboard, Paint, Markers, Cable Ties, Protest November 2011 For a group exhibition Other Possible Titles, Grizzly Grizzly gallery encouraged gallery goers to vote for their favorite work, with the artist receiving the most votes receiving a solo exhibition. For this exhibition that explored democratic processes, I proposed to create hand-made reproductions of some of the protest signs that were being used in the Occupy Protests. I encouraged gallery goers to take one of these hand-made reproductions on the condition that they agree to redistribute and display publicly these signs throughout the city.
