Golden days Au Headcanons for Darius

- As you already know he calls Hunter “little Prince” or “kid”

- Since Hunter actually lives with him he does much more domestic stuff than Raine and Adrian (bath time, bed time routine, meals, etc.)

- Hunter being his ‘assignment’ means he’s basically a stay at home parent but he still has out of castle duties from time to time, so he often leaves Hunter with Raine or Adrian

- Hunter has nightmares sometimes and is afraid of thunder so often he’ll crawl out of bed to go to Darius’s room, Darius will let him sleep in his bed with him mainly because he’s too tired to argue with a teary eyed Hunter

- Darius is not a singer but Hunter likes it when he hums (something about his deep voice is calming) so he’ll ask Darius to him lullabies sometimes.

- He wasn’t big on physical affection at first but warmed up to it over time (hair ruffles, hugs, foreheads/bedtime kisses)

- He’s Hunter’s favorite, if the boy is with Adrian or Raine and gets scared he’ll ask for Darius and the man has to drop whatever’s he’s doing to go and pick him up

- Darius was aware that Hunter looked very much like his mentor but he didn’t pin point it to being a clone until the boy got much older and instead thought it was just cruel humorous luck.

- He bought parenting books because he didn’t want to fully depend on Adrian

- Since Darius is the king of self care you better believe these two have had spa days together, or at least to the extent that a toddler would enjoy.

- Hunter will cry is he sees Darius without abomination goop on his head, so he always has to have it on

- He works out at home and Hunter likes to help, he’ll sit on Darius’s back when he doing push ups and count to as high of a number as he knows or sit on his shoulders while he does squats or lunges (when Hunter was an infant Darius would set him in his lap while he did sit ups, it always made Hunter giggle to watch Darius lie down and sit back up again and again)

- Hunter’s crib stayed in the living room but when he got old enough for a big boy bed Darius cleaned out his walk in closet to make a room for the kid (to which Raine was very smug about)

- He’ll never admit it but he loved picking out little outfits for Hunter wear when he was a baby and it took everything in him to not post pictures on penstagram to which he failed on multiple occasions

- There’s so much more I could say about this man but I’m tired so this is it for now

Adrian's fangs every time he opens his mouth, I swear to the Titan. Nobody else in the show has such noticeable fangs.

Guy deserves to bite something, as a treat.

Hehe I was gonna make a make a joke and say something like “Darius?” but I actually have Adrian written as AroAce in my Au (I don’t know just get that vibe from him, plus if you add yellow and white to his outfit he’s their pride flag’s colors) I also don’t ship him and Darius, I just can’t see Darius putting up with the man long enough to actually going out with him. I’m here for it if others like that ship and it makes for good ship drama but that won’t be in my Au. So for future context any fanart/stories I may make of the two of them are not ship art/pieces, same goes for Raine/Darius or Adrian/Raine.
