A bit of the Sea with me
grimoire post #2: first “spell”
for a while i’ve been intending to weave myself a bracelet in the colors of the beach and then charge it in the sea nearest my home, a la this post. however, i haven’t gotten around to even picking a pattern for this bracelet, never mind starting it, and i was at that beach with my mom today, perhaps for the last time this summer(yikes) so I decided to do the spell with an existing piece of jewelry instead.
i have this really pretty string anklet in the colors of the ocean, so i decided to use that. after swimming into the sea, I held the anklet in my right (dominant) hand and rested my left hand on the surface of the water. attempting to move the sea’s energy through my left hand, through me, and into the bracelet, I recited this chant (of my own making):

about 7 times or so? and ended with “so may it be”. now, this was my first real attempt at energy work, so i have NO idea if it worked, and i trust i never will! i definitely have more research to do in that area. but with any luck, i have a beautiful charm to keep me connected to the sea :)
