There was a feeling of autumnal freshness early this morning. The Sydney coast was clear of the fog inland, and the Bondi Icebergs pool was like a sheet of glass. The day ahead is forecast to be hot, so I’m coming back this afternoon for a swim.

Big Wednesday at Mona Vale by Sacha Fernandez Via Flickr: A deep low off coastal NSW produced monstrous seas and so I took the opportunity to head out to Mona Vale to check out the ocean pool. Usually in calmer conditions, one can walk out to the pool and shoot on the pool's edge, not on this day. Pounding waves and angry skies!
