Heading into its 23rd year, the International Ocean Film Foundation (IOFF) has become an acclaimed platform for independent ocean-related films from around the world.

Each year, the festival showcases stories of ocean adventure, exploration, science, marine life, sports, and coastal cultures, curated to entertain, educate and inspire better ocean stewardship.

The next festival will take place April 10–12, 2026, in San Francisco, and submissions are now open! The deadline is December 31, 2025.
