I have been fascinated by deep sea coral ever since I saw a television program that looked at Hawaiian Monk Seals. In the process they discovered that they were diving deeper than expected. When a remotely operated submersible explored the area the discovered an oasis of deep sea corals which attracted other ocean life, which attracted the seals.
