Aila was born the only heir the to throne of Kings Hill. After years of trying Simone and Alexei had all but given up until she came along. They made sure she was well educated and knew all the ends and outs of Kings Hill. She studied the past almost religiously and even though she was a public figure she rarely understood what all went into that.
Aila was pretty sheltered in her life but the one thing she did enjoy and got to do was dance. It was her favorite thing to do in downtime and the dance teacher that came to the palace at least three times a week. It wasn’t until Aila got older that those lessons tapered off and her schedule became filled with more important things she should be focusing on.
However it was not all sunshine and roses for Aila future and it would take a drastic turn for her. When her parents were murdered in their sleep there was little time to discuss what should happen next. She was forced into hiding and has been there since. Figuring things couldn’t get much more difficult, Aila just thought she would ride it out, until things got quiet. That was until she found out she wasn’t human at all. Discovering she was something legend, mermaid, siren, however you wanted to spin it was probably the toughest pill to swallow.
Aila’s world had only appeared to crash until then, after all Kings Hill was a human led realm and now she was far from human and unsure of what she was really. With new abilities that caused her head to spin, Aila had heard the whispers of the Northland Falls leader moving in on her beloved home, most had presumed she was dead after all.
Aila didn’t see much she change, but there was definitely something she could to just to ensure that the home she had known in and out through out most of her life was well led and not tainted by someone who had no clue what Kings Hill was even about. She had a responsibility, even if it meant handing over her crown to someone that could handle the job better than she could.
