Alright, let’s clear some stuff up.
so I’ve heard that the “Oceanic 6” have been saying that i crashed in the water. I did not. I crashed on the island. They’re lying about where I am like I didn’t shield them from the ground of the island we all crashed on. And, I heard a guy named Widmore made a fake version of me so they wouldn’t find me.
wow, careful who you trust.

Watching LOST with my bf (who never saw it).
Got to the last season, Ilana told Sun about them being Candidates as Jacobs replacement.
My bf: "it will be Hurley."
Me: "why do you think that?"
Him: "Because they can't kill Hurley. Everybody loves him."

I’ve just figured out/reminded myself that the the Oceanic 6 were only on the island for 100 days before leaving. That’s only a little over 3 months. Like...it felt like they were there for a year before leaving the island.
So then Michael was only off the island for a month before Meet Kevin Johnson, and obviously he was on the freighter earlier than that.
I just feel like it all happened so fast. My brain is so confused.
Like...the Oceanic 6 were off the island before going back longer than they were ever on the island.
Since I like to read healthy Lost debates..
Did the Oceanic 6 really need to come back to save the others? Or was the savior really John leaving the island and stopping the flashes? Perhaps Sawyer, Juliet, etc. could have gotten back to the present time on their own. Yes the 6 (well, 5) wanted to get back for their own reasons, but was it necessarily to save the others as John had told them? Discuss?
