something in the sallyface fandom that annoys me a lot is when people try to boil down the hate for ashley to just some ““annoying salvis shippers who hate her for getting in the way”” when there is genuinely barely any people who actually hate her for that.

the hate for ashley stems from genuine illiteracy from people who fail to understand her intentions with her testimony in court. 99% of ashley haters in this fandom hate her because they believe she testified against sal, never tried to help him, and ultimately "killed him".

people try to push so many problems in this fandom onto salvis shippers and it is genuinely so strange, and definitely harmful.
