Larimar is another favorite of ours. It has been difficult to find this stone in larger polished sizes that fit well in the palm of the hand. The Dominican Republic where this stone comes, is the only location in the world that produces this gem. Many say it has a calming feel like the ocean and as you can see, it looks like the ocean frozen in crystalline form. Ocean. Picture. Stone! So freaking amazing that a stone can depict something so beautiful. Just looking at this skillfully created cabochon, you see why this British Columbia stone got its name.
