This is a good watch despite it takes a while to fully get into it. It took me about six episodes for it to fully get my undivided attention and once it did I was glued. It gets super fast pace and the acting throughout is perfectly on point. It really is a great crime thriller.

Watcher (2019)

Finished Watcher (2019) today. It was a laid back show imo given its genre but it was perfect for fulfilling my craving for such a series. Acting was spot on by everyone; no character was annoying thank goodness. I like how things, the protagonists included, were always grey and uncertain even towards the very end. I think I would have liked a little more detail into Gil Soo and Commissioner Yeom's role in all the mess but I like how the drama did not over do anything. I also appreciate the absence of romance or unnecessary emotions/feelings coming in the way of police/crime stuff.

I think I'd like to watch another similar drama next. It was not like other recent Netflix shows that try to be trendy or woke or flashy (which reminds me - I also started Penthouse and it really feels like a makjang to me ngl it's kinda funny).

I don't like seasons but this drama kinda has a lot of scope for another exciting few episodes.
